You do understand don't you that "paying their fair share" is somewhat unusual and "foreign" to the entitlement crowd who voted for HillaryNoMore and Sanders? As a result they have difficulty "wrapping their brain" around the concept ... which could be challenge anyway based on the lack of sufficient size to wrap a friggin toothpick.

I do think that American needs to play a reduced role in NATO and perhaps leave Nato.

Make NATO more of a true European security organization.

I'm glad to see that Europe intends to go forward with more responsibility for their own defense - it could lessen our future burdens.
