what do men want for valentines day?

I haven't had a SO on Valentines Day in several years, but now I do!

What do I get him for Valentiens Day? and don't say anything sex related, because thats a given!

I'm talking material things...what types of things would you guys want?
I feel like cologne is so overplayed.

I want something original but not cheesy...he won't enjoy flowers, chocolate, and a stuffed animal like I would!

soo let me hear your ideas <3

thanks in advance

Try a necklace with an open heart pendant and a homemade valentine card.

How about you and a friend?? (I know, but had to throw it out there).

Is he a basketball fan? Maybe tickets to Sunday's All-Star game. Prices are coming down from what I hear. If not maybe take him out for nice meal to one of his favorite spots or maybe try something new.
Nice to see that you want to make it a special day.

I vote for the nice meal. Sometimes its nice to just get away and eat somewhere nice. We usually hit a nice seafood place with a casual atmosphere.

I'm the kind of person that if I want it I buy it and I really don't need anything. Good food and a card suits me just fine...

A cigar he promises not to smoke in front of you unless you want him to, Mavs or Stars game with you, his favorite bottle of wine, a game for his Wii ( or whatever), some smoking hot porn flick that is running when he walks in...

I've been married twice (widowed and divorced) immediately discarded ALL stuff with memories attached, EXCEPT the valentines cards.

And I am sorry to break it to ya, but for me, they are only a reminder of that particular day and the "better than average" sex that took place.

the bad news is, we're simple creatures...

Bioshock2 and bbbj so sloppy the neighbors can hear it.

What does your guy like? Video games, kinky porn, steak that's still chewing its cud, rodeo, sports, cars, guns and other things that go boom, tools, coffee, electronics, books, alcohol, anime. Everyone has that "one thing". If you know him well enough to get him a gift, you must know his "one thing",
