Do you prefer to see ladies with no, little, moderate, or heavy makeup?

I just found the following video on YouTube and was shocked at some of the differences.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uvw0h...e_gdata_player

I don't ever think I've seen a lady with so much make up I wouldn't recognize her without it but I confess to having had it happen a few times in real life.

I know some women (SO included) that are horrified to be seen in public without make up and hair done that I think frankly don't look considerably different but maybe I'm focused on inner beauty.

I guess I thought I'd prefer light makeup but I have to admit I'd get excited about doing some of these celebs with makeup but probably pass without.

Which do you prefer or do you have a preference?

Ladies your thoughts and comments are welcome as well.

All depends on the lady. Some don't need makeup. Some need a little. Some need a lot. But, ladies, if you do it, don't OVER do it......IMHO

Natural blondes look washed out without make-up. With blond eyebrows and blonde eyelashes, they look totally different without make-up.

Wearing some makeup to add color, cover blemishes and highlight eyebrows and lashes is fine to me.

Foundation that looks troweled on and false eyelashes are not fine with me.

I like none or very little. if they need a lot to look presentable I'm not interested - sorry ladies. I also believe it is a domino thing - a lot of make up is bad for your skin, so to cover bad skin, you wear more makeup.
^^^^^ I'm with you. A little goes a long way. Same thing with perfume/body wash, I don't like it.

Taz just like Pretty!
Little to none. You know what you're getting and if the session goes well and gets all hot and sweaty there's not makeup running everywhere.

Me likes pretty too...so definitely makeup.
Little to none on naturally pretty women. No interest in "done up". I'm just a primitive man.
Men, most of you absolutely cannot tell if a lady is wearing a lot of makeup, unless she's wearing a lot of BAD makeup.

When makeup is done well, even if she's wear a TON of it... the only parts you should be aware of are the eye colors and/or the lip color(s).

When you see women wearing a lot of foundation... it's not the fact that they are wearing foundation that is turning you off... it's that they are wearing BAD foundation. GOOD foundation blends with skin so well you'd never know it is there. Blush is the same. If your eye is drawn to her blush, she's wearing too much of it, or the wrong color for her. You should barely be aware that she has a color on her cheeks, and it should be subtle and flattering. Eyes and lips are where things are different. For most looks (other than a natural look), she will choose to accentuate either her eyes or lips. Not both, as you risk looking clownish (unless it is balanced very, very well, and no ladies, you are probably not that good unless you are a makeup artist). A strong lip color should be paired with very light eye makeup. Mascara and maybe liner. A strong eye should be paired with a subtle lip color.

The natural look is what most of you guys think of as "light makeup" when really she's probably wearing a lot of makeup... just well. I tend to go for this look a lot, and I get comments about how little makeup I'm wearing all the time. I can tell you, the ONLY difference between my natural look, and my going out to get noticed look, is usually eye shadow. Seriously. For most of you guys, that's the difference between a little and a lot.

Here's what I wear for my natural look:
Primer
Creme foundation (matched perfectly to my skin color at Sephora. Ladies, if you haven't done that, go to Sephora and make them use that little computer tool on your face and MATCH YOUR FOUNDATION to your skin. The wrong color screws up your whole look from the beginning).
Powder
Blush
Brow filler (alas, I have patchy brows)
Mascara
Lip Gloss

That's 7 products. To glam that up for evening, I'd add eye liner, and three or four colors of eye shadow, and maybe some natural looking falsie lashes just to boost my thin little lashes.

Stop thinking that a lot of makeup is the same as bad makeup. IJS.

What I noticed from that video was the drastic differences between the ones smiling in both pictures and those not smiling in the before pictures.
A great smile goes a long way.
That photo of Heidi Klum is terrible. I imagine that if it had been one of her smiling the difference would not have been as big.
Kim Kardashian is smiling in both of her photos. Not nearly the difference.
Conclusion. Ladies, smile more!
I thought the same thing, boardman. It was a bit biased of them to show the natural photos taken with the worst possible lighting and expression on some, and a gorgeous smiling photo on others. Foul play.
