I probably will stay in the galleria area. Seafood is what I aim to be in the mood for. I checked out Ida Clair's menu. Looks quite yummy too.

Papadeuax's on the tollway near Frankford.
I know you mentioned that you like seafood but in case you want some variety, here are two additional options, lovingcamela:

1. Fuddrucker's near the intersection of Frankford Rd and DNT. Tasty grilled burgers and a favorite among locals. I love adding freshly grilled jalapenos on top of my burger and ordering creamy pineapple coleslaw and a rich indulgent chocolate milkshake on the side. You can never just stop after one burger..they're that good. This burger joint is near the Galleria.

2. Chuy's on Beltine in Addison. This Tex-Mex restaurant is very near the Galleria. My favorite entree at Chuy's is the veggie enchiladas drenched in a savory dark brown ranchero sauce and served with refried beans and Mexican rice. They have a plethora of alcoholic beverages as well.

Their crowning glory is their absolutely divine tres leches cake. A huge serving of moist cake full of fresh cream, whipped cream, and sliced fresh strawberries. When you have that first mouthful, you want to keep going until it's all over. Despite the massive serving size, I order two servings and eat them both by myself because it's that yummy!

If you really love seafood you have to go to Oceanaire . It’s at the Galleria in the Weston hotel.

For seafood, try TJ’s Fish Market... It is a great little seafood place...

If you venture to Downtown DALLAS (not far and an easy trip from the Galleria), try Homewood (the hottest new restaurant in Dallas)... Te Deseo is a very cool place; Latin Fusion food, great cocktails and an amazing scene...

I second ida claire & Nate's. Both in addison, both really good. If you end up in Plano try whiskey cake!
cheesecake factory always satisfies

Pappadeaux is over-rated and over-priced.

Oceanaire's is good but their prices keep going up and portion size keep getting tinier.

They give you a 2-3 oz sliver of salmon with an asparagus on top of it and a spoon not full of mashed

and then they charge you an arm and a leg and another arm for it.

You will need a Black Card to eat there!

NO THANKS!

You shouldn't need to take out 2 mortgages to eat great fresh seafood.

Considering how many restaurants are in DFW,

no one should be stuck with over priced over rated places like Oceanaire's and Pappadeaux just because the masses of sheep go there.

DON'T BE A SHEEP!

They also CLAIM their menu is different every day.

NO It's NOT!

Remington's and Chamberlain's, both in Addison.
