Some folks were wondering about her and her disappearance from ECCIE. When I had seen her a short while ago she said something about snow in KC, so I texted her today. She replied that she is on her way to California and will be gone a while from KC.

Just thought I would let folks know.

She is now enjoying the LA weather and is planning on returning to KC once it warms up in a couple months.

Thanks for the updates. We now return you to our regular scheduled program.

Unfortuately, the regularly schedule programs on Eccie seem to include a lot of what's wrong?, where is?, how is? why would she?, could it be?....Kaylen programming

All that said, I'm glad the kid is safe and hopefully sound in the sunny state of Calif, and I can honestly state this time...I wish I was in the same zip code as her, lol

She did run an add the other day that said it was her last day. That was a clue.

If we are going to regard ourselves as a community, there is nothing wrong with acting like it.

Elena, if posts advising the rest of the community that someone is taking a break, leaving, or otherwise going to be gone permanently or temporarily bother you so much, then don't make an announcement when or if you yourself take a break or retire.
