My water is still out here in my home in Austin, and I am considering a road trip to DFW, while this mess sorts itself out. How are the essentials in DFW right now (food, gas, shelter)? Any availability issues or price gouging going on?

None that I am aware of. Fort Worth has some decent extended stays around 820 and I35 area.

I just book a hotel for my stay next week at the Galleria everything there is working .
