How long before I assume an ad expired?

Pickings are starting to look kind of slim. Some people I met haven't posted an ad in a long time, but I don't want to be rude.

If it’s been more than a week since the last ad, I generally don’t waste my time trying to contact them, but there are exceptions. If it’s someone I really wanted to see but didn’t get a chance to before they stop posting, I’ll shoot a text. I figure they’ve advertised that number on an escort website so they can’t really get too upset if they get texts asking about the ad. Usually they use texting apps or burner phones like we do anyway, so if they no longer are working, the number likely is no longer working either. Usually if I text an old ad (or in many cases a current one) I just get no response.
