A rabbi is on a ship when a devastating storms breaks the ship apart. The rabbi wakes up on a beach in shock that he survived. As he tries to get up he realizes he cannot move. Looking down at his body, to see why he can’t move, the rabbi notices tiny people have tied him down. Why have you done this he asks? Because you are a giant and will hurt us they say. The rabbi explains that he is a man of god and as such cannot hurt them. The tiny people talk it over and decide to free him. The rabbi tells them his name and asks for theirs. He also inquires about what they are called as a group. The king, of the tiny people steps forward and says, we are Trids. It is the beginning of a friendship.
Months later, while searching the island, the rabbi sees another regular size being. As he crests the hill he notices that the person is kicking the Trids back down the hill as they march up. In horror, he looks down at the bloodied and broken bodies of his friends. He yells out for the other person like him to stop what he is doing immediately because he is hurting his friends. The other person looks at the rabbi inquisitively and says, Silly Rabbi Trids are for kicks.
