Posting too much

I feel that sometimes I post too much, then I see others that post every thought that comes to there head. They post any piece of dribble just so they can act like a big shot or something. They post items without any value to the current topic just to be noticed. Do others feel like they contribute too much? Or do some posters stand out to you because they comment on everything?
