Is there any good place in city..

..to go out for evening night to see authentic Austin live country music where people wearing Texas style hats, shirts and cowboy boots?
Thanks in advance!
Adriana.
Try The Broken Spoke on South Lamar. I does not get much more authentic than that!

Hi Adriana

The best place for what you are looking for is the Broken Spoke in south Austin. Great bands and also an awesome chicken fried steak.

{The Broken Spoke is awesome!}

I love the Luncheon Blueplate Specials
Gruene Dance Hall in San Marcos is really cool too. If you are a Texas country star you played here once at least.

Also, the Cotton Club in Granger.. Great live country music and large dance floor

I doubt that a touring lady is gonna be interested in going 30-50 miles outside of town just to get the "Texas Cowboy" nightclub experience.

She said she wanted "Texas style hats" whatever that is, so why not go to Granger and get the "real thing" ??? :-)
