I am visiting the Plano area and was wondering what activities or things there are to do for 4th? Any suggestions would really be appreciated!

if you're into fireworks, i do know that addison is holding "kaboom town" fireworks program sat evening. the main area will prolly be swamped. but you could park in a parking lot along addison, midway, etc and see the fireworks.
