Quick question....

Hello all
This is my first time in Dallas so I have a few questions about the area. I will be visiting next week and wondering which areas are the best to stay in, in terms of safety and central location...Also is there any other sites other than this one that is used...I appreciate any information!!

i would imagine most folks will recommend the galleria area [at intersection of I-635 LBJ freeway and Dallas North Tollway]. there are several very nice hotels in that area. i've heard from several women that they get great deals using priceline after checking the going rates on expedia or hotels.com, etc. but know that LBJ is under going a massive reconstruction project, so it can be difficult to get to/from the hotels in that area.

but, the few hotels along US 75 [Central Expwy] between Mockingbird Ln and Meadow Rd. are very nice and easily accessible.

or, you could stay over by the Dallas Market Center [I-35E Stemmons Freeway], but that's farther away from the n. dallas area.

except for the Westin Park Central and the Wyndham Dallas Suites at LBJ & Coit Rd, i'd stay away from LBJ & Central Expwy. mid- to lower-star hotels and lots of traveling backpage women in that area. very sketchy.

hope you have a great time in our fair city!

stay in a motel that does not have a direct door to the parking lot.crime can be any place in any city. be alert and do not talk to strangers like me for example
Welcome to Dallas I would suggest you post this in the "provider information exchange"

Also, once you settle on a location, make sure you post that information in your ad (ie, Galleria area, Market Center, Downtown Dallas, etc.). Given that DFW is a very spread out area with lots of heavy traffic, how easy it is to get to you is a primary concern to many gents.
Pm for an easy priceline strategy. I never paid more than 70/night for a 4star anywhere in dfw while hopping around for 6months til I found my killer incall downtown. Normally it was between 50-60/night. Yes for 4 star hotels. Not just in the galleria.
