In the redest of red states where he has the majority white vote He's lost 2 of 3 gubernatorial races within the last week. This is a horrible sign for the Republicans. The real question is why? Could this be the reason:

LOL. I just showed in another thread where whether the Republican candidate won or not in Lousiana, it was still a win and continued affirmation of conservatism there. Hell, I might have voted for the guy.

Who doesn't like a pro-life, pro-capital punishment, pro-guns, pro-tax cut, pro-tradional marriage candidate, who says he will follow the constitution.

That's certainly not what the left if offering up for POTUS at this point.

So if this fella was so conservative, why did Trump go to Louisiana to fight against his re-election? With Trump it’s only about the Trump party winning. And it isn’t.

Give your balls a tug!

Ok, revel in those thoughts. As I said as a conservative, based on the positions I posted, it's not a loss for conservatism.

You do realize he merrily signed one of the most restrictive anti abortion laws in the country.

You might want to give your balls a tug if you think this was a win for the socialist progressive left. It wasn't...

el - interesting post about stands and positions on issues, rather than DPST "Truth" and narrative.

They cannot stand the "Facts" about their lapdog ( thought to be by LSM) democrat governor of Louisiana.

One might think the DPST's went back in time to win Nov 2016 from all the celebrations.

No hardly!

LSM is portraying this as a Trump failure
In reality - Edwards adheres to a conservative point of view the DNC abhors.

plus he is an old white guy.
I think Louisiana voters made a reasonable choice.

DPST idiots don't even begin to think that a Democrat could have a centrist Right-leaning. opinion.

JBE carried Jefferson Parish and Jefferson parish is a Red parish. a bunch of republicans voted for JBE because they thought he was conservative enough. its why he won.

people there didn't care for Rispone voted for JBE or stayed home, but they liked Trump.

so its one of those things that you can't hang this on Trump.

the race was very close. 51% to 49%.
