Does an ignore really mean ignore?

If I add someone to my "ignore" list under the option that allows me to either; add them as a contact or ignore them, can they still see when I log on and/or any of my activity?

Is it similar to a Facebook block? What exactly does it mean?

You won't see their posts and you won't be able to get PMs from them
That explains it ....thank u. So there is no way to completely block someone from stalking one's activity or posts?
