how to confirm an appointment

Real life scenario.
I messaged a provider (who I have been given the ok and passed screening) around 10 am and said how about a 1 pm. At around 1 she said I have a 3:30 available. I said book me. She said for how long? I said if your hour donation is X one hour. She said do you want msog. I said no it never works works out. Some other little chit chat.
So I am thinking I am good to go. 30 minutes before I say where are you so I can start driving. Her response was you never confirmed. I said I thought I did when I said book me for an hour. She said no that was just setting it up.
I just had to laugh.

sometimes you just have to laugh at providers with that type of logic. Guess she either did not need the money, did not want to see you after all or the most likely scenario, she had a regular call and wanted that time slot so she gave you that excuse that to her seems valid.

I try to set a day ahead of time and confirm the morning of, if she does not respond in at least an hour of just OK, then I move on looking for a provider who does dame day appointments or I will go to the strip club if the money is burning a hole in my pocket!

I just wish they would be honest. It would never bother me if a girl said sorry, a regular called and wants that time or sorry someone else is going to come and spend more. I get it. It's a business.

Well, just be thankful you did not get in your car and go all the way across town and then she ceased communication with you, I have had that happen a few times. It does not bother me in the slightest if she would just tell me a regular showed up last minute and she felt obligated to see him. The question would then be, what if she did the same thing to him she did to you when he initially wanted to see her?

I placed an ISO and figured this girl would respond since she responds to most. I've been wanting to see her so was kinda hoping she would. Well she did...we talked about the session, agreed on a price, and agreed on a time all thru eccie PM.
10am Saturday morning was the time for our session. I was texting her Friday night for confirmation and I told her I'd text around 9:15 before I left for our 10am appt. She asked where I was coming from and then she said she might be in Arlington which is closer for me. I told her whatever works best for you is fine. She then told me to call or txt at 8 or 9 am.
9am rolls around and I text her. She responds at 910 that she's up and can meet me in Arlington. At 9:16 she says she's getting ready and should be ready by 10am.
I asked her where am I going and she gave me a general area in Arlington.
At 9:58 I text her that I'm in the area she told me to go.
Crickets
At 10:20 I text her it's 20 minutes after our appointment and not sure what happened.
Here is the most puzzling part. She texted me back that she never told me to leave and she had to take care of some personal business (family) that will allow her to make the session and it will take her about 30 more minutes.
I asked what she meant about never telling me to leave and that I did text her before I left. She responded to that that she knew that and that she said she should be ready at 10 and would txt me the address. And I reminded her she told me the general area. (The drive for me is 35-40 minutes from my house).
I told her that if you tell me you'll be ready by 10 and give the the general location an hour before our session then of course I'm going to leave...it's a 40 minute drive.
So we do few back and forth texts and by this time (10:45) I'm already half way home.
That's a ton of background stuff....leading up to this. So about 10:40 she tells me she was having trouble with her daughter. So from 9:20 when I last texted her to 10:20 when she finally texted me back it was due to having "problems with her daughter" .
I let her know that was fine but a 5 second text BEFORE our appointment would have made everything fine. I asked why between 9:20 and 10:20 she didn't send me a quick update and she said she had a lot going on.
After the initial I didn't tell you to leave BS she was apologetic. Most of the apologetic tone was because she didn't want anything posted about it. When I got home I checked eccie and she has responded to two ISOs between 9am and 10am.
Did I get bumped for somebody else or did life get in the way and she decided it was ok to make me wait an hour?

this happens a lot......I remember one provider told me to be there at a certain time, but with traffic I was running behind......she said its ok ill just push my next appt back, he wont care was her response.

How about this for honesty:
You say you're on your way and she texts back:
"Hey, can you wait an hour? The guy I'm with wants another hour. He finally asked to BB me so I'm gonna let him. Don't worry, tho...I'll get rid of the cream pie and be fresh and clean for you, baby!"

Yeah, I know...where else on the planet can your sick imagination and sense of indecency get the best of you...
