Girls, just curious, when making love to my SO, I have noticed she always put's one hand either on my hip. or on my thigh as if to stop me from going too hard but I know this is not the case, she is hollering faster,harder. I have also seen girls do this in porn flicks. What's up with that ?

It is a defensive measure...in case you DO go too hard.
I have a friend who constantly tells me, "Don't touch me!" and he pushes my hand off his thigh or hip...While he is pounding away because he knows I am trying to keep him from pounding too hard. It's sort of a game we play.
For me anyway..its defensive..in a good way of course.
