people there don't like what this hot shot is doing there. accusations of corruption against him abounds. and yet they don't look at themselves on corruption leading to 65 billion in debt???

The "Puerto Rican way" is based on corruption, payoffs, laziness and a big dose of cray-cray. I was married to a PR woman for almost 20 years. Best 7 years of my life up until I turned 44.
But it is too late. It's ingrained in their culture. The problem is that no one would care except the NYT drives too much of the national news and there's about the same number of PRs in the NYC area than there is on the actual island.
