Ok Tyrod has been replaced by Nate Peterman, what do you think ? Good move, or mistake?
maybes if ya buys another twelve ...pack a keystone an scratch off lottery ...ticket yer answer ...will be revealed
Stick him in and see what he does, you never know. Tyrod wont go deep, maybe he will if he doesnt get killed back there
The Team has decided TT is not their future.
Putting Peterman in now helps them determine if they go for QB in the first or in the second round.
we have the sabres and their glorious march to the multiple stanley cups mr. pegula promised the good folks of buffalo
Aside from Tyrods running capabilities, his play of late reminds me of our thankfully brief stint with patriot's reject Drew Bledsoe, occasional spurts of champion like abilities, but overall inability to get rid of the ball fast enough. The Patriot's eventually had enough of his erratic play and traded him to us,making his backup their starter,an unknown, untested guy by the name of Brady, could we be so lucky with Peterman?
Best move they've mad in recent history. Until now I think nobody in the organization had the balls to shake things up.
They are getting 4.5 in my pool this week...what are the chances?

I am going to start this off by saying I am not a Bills fan.
For the entire week, many people...both fans and media...were applauding the decision to sit Taylor for Peterman. Taylor is not a pure passer. Taylor has throwing limitations. Taylor is a runner first. Taylor can't see the whole field. Taylor doesn't make mistakes because he doesn't take chances. Taylor can't scan more then his first option so he throws safe dump offs. Taylor starts to run too fast. Taylor is going to want a lot of money next year. Etc Etc.
Now that the "experiment" is over and it blew up in McDermott's face, those same people have taken him to the woodshed. How can you start this bum. Taylor threw as many picks all year as Peterman threw in the first quarter. Taylor is efficient. Taylor is smart with the ball. Taylor is the better athlete. Etc Etc.
I give McDermott credit for trying to change the way the offense works. For two years now the way to beat Buffalo is to force Taylor to actually look like an standard NFL QB. A pocket passer who gets the entire offense involved, NOT just dumpoffs to McCoy and checkdowns to whoever the TE is. Put a spy on him. Get pressure but more importantly get him down and don't make him do the only thing he loves, which is run.
Their bigger problem is...their defense is beyond awful right now. Part of it is injuries to the secondary. Part of it is they don't have a stud LB to make plays all day. The BIGGEST part is Marcel Darius took his money and ran, since it is obvious they need a run stuffer in the middle.
I feel for Buffalo fans, both hockey and football. They are SOOOO starved for ANY sort of success.
I don't think Peterman is the answer. I KNOW Taylor isn't either. Watching the same ol' same ol' from him for 2 1/2 years, you would think after that time the game would slow down, the field vision would open up. As a coaching staff IMO they most likely feel Taylor has reached his apex of talent, and isn't going to get better.
People forget how bad guys like John Elway were in their rookie year. I am not comparing Elway's obvious talent to Peterman, but unless you have a bunch of playmakers around a rookie, or he is a once-in-a-generation talent (like Manning was), struggles are gonna happen. Do you want you team to go 8-8 every year, or do you want to stand at the podium every so often and have confetti rain on your starting QB's head as he raises a trophy?
OK Peterman has a strong arm, just needs to start throwing to our guy's. IMO,McDermott fucked up,at 5 & 4,with a shot at a play off spot looming, is not the time to start an untested rookie, once the season is lost, with no chance left, would be the time, besides, why did he wait until halftime to yank him!
