What the hell is the deal with the "Like" button?

Every time I use it, I'm locked and have to go up top and hit the "Home" button to continue. If you're well into the selection menu, that's a pain in the ass.

Your computer is locking you up. I hit the Like and it updates fine. If you are using IE you might want to try firefox.

Get a Mac. It works fine for me.
