If you go to Zorinsky, best to go on weekends or late afternoon/early evening when they are busier. There have been incidents over the years with perverts getting too friendly with some female joggers, especially weekday mornings. Lock your car and don't leave anything of value in plain sight. It is unfortunate we have to worry about it but shit happens.
Fontanal Forrest is nice and so is Mahoney State Park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive to Ashland.
It’s even better when you can use the floating bridge. Should be open soon as they just completed a year long renovation. Even the lake was completely drained.

I wish I had seen you. I walk there 4-5 times a week.
I love to go hiking and try Heroes Park, Jewels Park, West Papio Trail, Chalco trail

Quite a few even in Iowa or travel out west to Ashland too
