were should I stay new to omaha

hi my friend and I are coming to visit your town and we have no clue to where we should stay we are looking for a safe clean area please let me know i will be there soon look frward to meeting some of you and having a lil fun while we are there

It really depends on your budget and what your likes are. Omaha's pretty safe except for the north side from the river west to about 72nd street, from Dodge Street North.

Lots of hotels in the 108th and L area; a good number of I80 and 72nd street. Also a good number in the 680 & Dodge area. Newer trendier areas like Midtown Crossing (about 36th and Farnam) or Aksarben Village (66th & Center) are attractive. Again, it's all about budget and what you want to be close to.

I dont care where you stay, hell you can crash at my place if need be, even though the wife might not like that idea. However what mbinlincoln said. Some cheap hotels off 72nd and I80. You in town friday is like the best Bday present this friday

Its probably best to PM her your suggestions. You don't want to give LE a heads up if she does decide to stay at one of the hotels listed above.

Come on guys don't be so naive. 72nd ish is like throwing a dart in the middle of omaha. Seriously in the independent reviews people say Downtown blah blah blah. That is about as specific as 72nd considering there are only a handful of hotels downtown.

Seriously LE isn't going to waste time going to all the rooms in a hotel looking for someone named SexyKelly.

They are going to have someone disguised try to hire her. And if you are like some people and Elena can tell you this, you use the same pictures on her that you use on facebook.

No, you're clearly wrong; LE is going to stake out all 30 or so hotels located in the areas mentioned in my original post. Sheesh.

No, but LE will fax out a copy of the ad and/or her face picture (its called a daily tip sheet) to hotels and yes, they will pay whoever says, "yes, she's checked in here." Its called a bounty and LE in Omaha has picked up on it over the last year or so. KC LE does it all the time along with other cities.


Also, a lot of hotels do print out ads from BP and run phone numbers in the ads against the numbers ladies give when booking their room.
