Drivers for providers

This thread in the business services forum had me wondering. Not going to do a poll, but out of curiosity, how many guys would opt to not see a gal if they knew she had a driver was going to be showing up on his doorstep?

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=205184

I for one screen the ladies who see me as carefuly if not more carefully than they screen me. If a driver is part of the package, I sure hope the reviews are giving me that information. But how do I screen the driver to make sure he will not be blackmailing me in 3 months.

If I am seeing a provider, I am breaking the law, as well as many moral values of society. The lady is doing he same. We both have something to lose. The driver can sit back in his pimp mobile, oops, taxicab, claim he has done nothing wrong, but threaten to blackmail me just the same.

Guess, by the same token, how many ladies have a "driver" who is not really just a pimp with car keys.
I am an anti-driver provider....I don't see the point in having a driver and If I was a hobbiest I would choose not to see a provider useing one. You just do not know who that driver is and what their purpose is.

I have always thought driver meant pimp but I do understand that some people don't have cars for whatever reason. I drive myself always.

And to the OP: Not to make you paranoid, but if the girl runs her business correctly you may never know whether she has a driver or not, or whether she uses him or her always, often or rarely. And frankly, if you feel you're doing something "wrong", I suggest you find a hobby which inflicts less guilt.

It's obvious from this post the only side with which one is concerned is the hooker side. The client side of the concern seems to be always marginalized.

As far as "doing something wrong," I referred to the moral values of society. You may me shocked to learn that many of the guys you see have families, jobs, and friends who would not approve of their participation here and that a serious negative impact would arise if their activities were to come to light. I seem to remember a couple of politicians who suffered some negative impact to their careers after certain activities came to light.

And Charles, thank you for your post as well.

Personally, I would shy away from a provider if I knew she had a driver. I definitely would not use a provider who had a driver and the date was at a private residence. I could probably accept a driver situation if the date was to a hotel, but I'd still be cautious.

As for the blackmail angle, I think that is a bit far fetched. From a criminal law perspective, a driver would be a heresay witness; therefore, not permitted in court. He would have to see any illegal activity in order to be a witness. As for pure blackmail purposes, it cuts both ways. Word will get out that the gal has a driver who blackmails. That provider will quickly get blacklisted, so having a blackmailing driver is just not good for business.
What if the driver was another provider? I've driven other providers who had no license or car troubles and have sat in the living room enjoying a beverage and full use of the remote control and TV. And of course I've been asked to join...

It was always agreed ahead of time. Permission is always asked. I agree that it would be rude to just drag another provider up to the door with you and ask if it was all right if she waits inside. LOL.

The problems can arise long before you are looking at criminal charges.

Nobody really knows anybody that well. While you're being occupied the female driver could be scoping out your residence maybe even looking at your mail ya got laying around gathering info about you for which could be used in identy theft. iam not trying sound cynical but everyone here is so saftey conscienous it goes much further than is she LE or Bait and switch. I say if it can reasonably be thought about it can happen. If it can happen, it has happened. But their is one thing I won't have and that is car idleing in my driveway for an hour or so with some dude sittin in it. This sort of hobby has way to many variables to whatch out for. Verified provider doesn't mean she's an Angel. I called a provider once a guy answers the phone. I just told him I had the wrong number. I don't think in this day of internet, cell phones, GPS, all this technology does an escort need a pimp or any other second party involved in her endeavor in this buisness. If her car has broken down and she needs a ride and doesn't have an incall that needs to be explained and well to a potential client especially if you are meeting at his residence.
A provider who was a driver for the lady I was seeing would have to pass the same screening I would give to the original provider. Granted, if my original provider was vouching for her, she would have one step ahead of the game.
