democrat (n) - an advocate or supporter of democracy

Based on this, many are not:

Cory Bush, a Democratic Congresswoman who rose to prominence through participation in Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson, Missouri, has filed a resolution seeking expulsion of over half of the Republican members of the House of Representatives, for voting against certifying the election results. She has 47 Democratic co-sponsors.

Does anyone see the irony? Her claim to fame is through BLM protests. She probably never would have proposed this resolution or gotten so many colleagues to sign on to it if not for the protest and destruction at the Capitol.

Admittedly, protests about blacks killed by police make more sense than protests about a stolen election. I say that despite my belief that the BLM movement is misguided and should be concentrating on other issues. The Stop the Steal thing is just crazy.

Sheldon Whitehouse is proposing something similar in the Senate. Apparently Whitehouse, Bush, and 47 other House Democrats want to create a one party state.

Those Republicans deliberately tried to impede the electoral process, and made up conspiratoral lies to further their nefarious agenda. Their rhetoric helped fuel the violence at the Capitol. They can all fuck themselves, as far as I'm concerned. Republicans don't care about democracy, they are only concerned with the term, in relation to keeping their House seats.

What’s your proposed consequence for trying to overturn the election through perpetuation of a lie.

Seriously, most of them from both parties care primarily about keeping their House seats.

Your people, Cruz, Jordan, Hawley, and the rest, fueled the Capitol uprising Personally. and even now are making excuses, calling for ''healing and unity'', now that they are exposed as criminals. These are completely different matters.

I hate democrats and republicans.

Fuck them.

If they actually try to remove republicans and create a one party state, they'll only exacerbate the anger and divide, which is probably what they want to do.

Democrats also claimed the 2016 election was stolen. They also cheered on riots. Republicans at least denounced both riots.

Anyway, fuck them both, though. They are both dick shits who are trying to destroy each other and will take us all down in the process.
there are a few good dimocrats....

well there's tulsi gabbard, that's one

and then there is, there is.....hmmmm

Former Democratic presidential candidate from Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, said she warned of a potential “civil war” months ago if the media, Big Tech, and politicians did not stop pushing divisive narratives on the American people. She said the country’s leaders and media companies need to start leading to serve the public’s interests—not their own.
“Months ago (I) was maybe one of a few people who warned of civil war if we continue down the path that we are on. And I think that what we are seeing now with this divisiveness that exists very much online … now being translated into action further points in that direction,” Gabbard said in an interview with the host of the Rubin Report Dave Rubin.

The Army veteran shared her hope for how leaders will lead in the future, saying, “Whether they’re elected or not elected, (leaders should say) I am here to serve this country and the American people, not my party.”

.............................. ..other stuff she said ......

To end the interview, Gabbard said that she will continue advocating for American’s freedoms and common-sense policies in her work while embracing the spirit of “Aloha,” which guides her to find common ground and humanity with all people.

“I open my heart and I love you as a fellow person, as a child of God, as a fellow American … whether we agree or disagree on different issues, whether we come from different backgrounds or not,” Gabbard said.
