Looking for a party venue - Suggestions?

Every year we hold a summer party. It is a family friendly event where we have food, drinks, games, and a live band with dancing. In the past it has been held at my home, since we also have a pool, but last year we had such a hassle with the neighbors, and the city where I live, even though I always follow all of the rules and have the proper permits, etc. So this year we are looking for a venue to hold it. We don't need anything fancy, or expensive, just space for the band to set up, room for dancing, and some space to set up some games such as corn-hole, giant Jenga, giant connect-4 etc. Also need to be able to bring in our own food and alcohol. We would prefer something centrally located as we have guests from all over the metroplex. Need space for about 80 people. If anyone has a suggestion please PM me. Thanks.

wrt your post...

"...It is a family friendly..."

"...bring in our own food and alcohol..."

just wondering - is this a family/extended family party? [rather squeaky clean]
or is this a hobbying sub-culture adult only party? [no holes barred :^)]

Jaguars has plenty of space. Fits your BYOB rules.

I'm not sure about the other requirements. But full nude outta be a heck of an entertainment.

White Rock Lake - Winfrey Point. Rent the house at the top of the hill. Affordable. Central.

Great vibe for a party.

There are a few downsides from renting from the city. Mainly, the party will have to end by a certain time. Probably midnight. Don't remember.

All the info should be easy to find online.

another downside, if you want to serve liquor, you have to put up a deposit and have an off-duty cop there for anywhere from 50-100/hr!

now, you can just show up at any city park w/ a crowd, but i think dallas city parks are alcohol free. just put the booze & mixer in a opaque bottle/container. same goes for beer :^)
"Corn-hole"? With your family? Y'all from Kentucky, like me?

Elizabeth's suggestion sounds good...if it's during the summer you might still have time to reserve it. Maybe try renting the biggest party barge at one of the area lakes.
Giant jenga might be a challenge with other boats nearby, tho.
