I would love to organize one, but I've heard that they just don't go over well in Memphis. In Phoenix, we have one once a month. Here's how we do it, and how i would like to do it....
We meet at a public place, usually a semi-crowded sports bar with an outdoor patio area. Anybody seeing us hanging out on the patio would never know it was a group of escorts and hobbiests. It is very mix and mingle, and the girls are careful not to go over the top in the way they dress. ALL men and women attending are verified. We do not make the location known except thru email to those invited and screened.
I have already talked to a few providers, and they are very open to the idea. I am thinking late summer or early fall. So men.....would you consider attending?

Honestly, I'm very socially avoidant, probably pathologically so (I sat with the APA's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV one evening and looked at the diagnostic criteria for avoidant personality disorder; I recognized every one in my own personality).
Given the choice between 1) coming to a social gathering and meeting a group of total strangers, or 2) being set on fire and then forced to leap through a 20th story plate glass window, I'll immediately chose that second, much less painful option.
If y'all put together an Memphis M&G, have fun. I won't say I won't come (occasionally I surprise even myself), but the odds that I'll attend are so close to zero as to make no difference.
