ERROR MESSAGE: You can not register multiple accounts on this forum

Hello,

So I have a good friend who in the past would occasionally post on Backpage to supplement her income as that's no longer an option because of the recent changes to the website I mentioned ackee to her and told her I would help her make her profile and everything... first she tried from my tablet which docks to a keyboard and allows desktop view of web pages of course using a new email with no ties to social media ECT. And upon submission of the form received the error message can not register multiple accounts on this forum.... So next I played secretary, typing for her and triple checking everything was filled out and typed correctly, AGAIN receive the same error message... So I thought maybe it had something to do with the fact we were using a device I have used previously and it recognized that and thought I was just trying to make a second profile or something so she tried on her smartphone using the wifi first and then her data and again both times got the same error message.... why does it keep giving her that error message and what can be done to fix it so she can finish creating her profile??

Have her go to the public library and register using a computer there.

Library computers won't usually allow site cookies, so that should sidestep the issue inherent in using your hardware.

Possibly using a different browser in your hardware would work, but best to use entirely different hardware.

Best of luck in her quest!

I believe this site is blocked by public library firewalls, even if you use your own device and just use their wifi. I've seen some hotels that block it as well. I guess it is worth a try but I think your chances of success are low at a library. You could also try a business with free WiFi. But be aware that there is a porn on the homepage.

There are websites/programs that allow you to reroute your ip address so it will look like it's coming from a different source. Check the board guidelines to be sure they are allowed before you use one and research the site/program you use to be sure it isn't a scam.

Having her use her own device is the obvious way to go. She will need a device to access her account unless you are going to play middle person and relay messages for her.

1. Try clearing out all browser cookies and history, *I hate this*
2. Use incognito anonymous browsing, Press Ctrl + Shift + n
3. Install a different browser where she only logs in the browser
4. Log out of the operating system, create a new operating system new profile, then create an eccie profile
5. Buy her a cheap Chromebook, they work and are secure

unsure about the first two, three and above should work if it is a cookie issue

Another option - were you still logged in when trying to set up a new account?
