Public Service Announcement for Time Wasters

HarleyRose's Avatar
So one of my biggest pet peeves, is gents to time waste. I know there a lot of providers who are known as time wasters as well, but right now I'm focusing on just gents, from a providers view.

Now, I understand there's a lot of options. There's an array of providers you can choose from. And thats great. There's a huge variety so you can find someone who is best suited for you.

But please...
Please please please.

Do not send out an email, a text, or a website booking, if you do not fully intend on falling through. This past week alone - it's a pretty busy week in Orlando apparently due to a couple of conventions - I had 2 pre-bookings, one through my website and one through another site, with a date and time, location, etc already specified. But when I reply to confirm and cover a few last details - nothing. As I said above, I'm aware that there are plenty of options, and okay, maybe someone you messaged prior had responded. And while that's frustrating, as well, it's a little more respectful to just shoot a quick email "Hey, sorry, plans changed" or just let us know whats going on.

For most of us, this is our business. Our means to pay bills and simply get by. While there's a lot of women I'm sure do fantastic and do not have to depend on every single booking, it isn't the case with everyone. So when a booking is received, we've set that time aside, probably turned down other people, and are depending on you to follow through. I understand things happen, but my biggest frustration is the ghosting and not hearing anything back until last minute, or people that message multiple providers at a time to wait until one replies. I understand it may be tedious to message one girl at a time and wait back to hear a "no thanks", and then move on to the next, but please be considerate in our time and business.

Just a little PSA and rant.

That's the lowest minimum standard of decent social behavior. That's where we start, not some lofty goal to which we aspire.

Thinking just now of the outrage stories of client misbehavior that professional companions have shared with me, I think there are four basic ones:

1. The first contact with the provider that starts with "Can I come on your face?" or "I've gotta fuck that ass." (Not "Hi, my name is so-and-so, and I'd like to book an hour ...").

2. The assumption that BBFS is on offer.

3. Money shenanigans, such as showing up "a little short" as a bargaining tactic, or fun-before-payment followed by a client escape maneuver, etc.

4. What HR posted about here: booking without intent, or NCNS, etc.

Ladies, which is the worst? The most common? Is there another standard offense that's been left out?
Hi James, welcome back! Harley is, in my opinion, spot on with this being a number one frustration and definitely the most common one... The only place I would care to elaborate on is that I think most, if not all providers DO depend on every booking. There is a huge myth that women in the sex industry make gobbs of money. There are a few who do, but the majority do not. For most of us, the reality is that this job pays about average ($40-80k+/-per year before taxes and with zero benefits... and yes, taxes are mandatory. Some of us pay them, some take a gamble and don't, but its an ugly and costly lesson that often follows sooner or later for the latter group.) The biggest perk is the freedom and flexibility it allows in our schedules. This is important for single moms and those who have a regular job for which this is a supplement. Anyway, as with most people, these ladies still have bills and when your income is $___ on average, your bills and lifestyle tend to reflect that income. Im as guilty as anyone for getting an email requesting time together (especially during a slow month) and thinking "Oh thank god, I can make the mortgage/car/insurance/etc pmnt now!" So I absolutely second miss Harley in her plea for respect and consideration in this area of conflict...
Time Wasters Suck! If everyone would have a heart and be consider the other person perspective we would all get along better.
The ghosting pisses me off. Dude, send me a quick text to say you can’t make it - I’m not going to beg you to come see me. Just be courteous.

On the other side of the coin, I have sent messages and never heard back from providers for 2 days.
I don't ghost anyone, but I will seek a date elsewhere if I don't find what I want within a decent time.
My work schedule is very odd and hectic.
Soon as I am told I have a Couple days off or couple hours off, I find a date.
I don't have time to wait days for a reply.
I do attempt to give several days notice when possible.

Taint photos have been known to reduce the NCNSs.

Kinda of a useless argument. NCNS's happen on both ends. It's part of the hobby. With all that can go wrong in this hobby if the worst thing to happen to you is a NCNS then count yourself fortunate.

For me, timing is of the upmost importance, but how many times is the provider “ not ready yet “ most of the guys here are married and waiting around in a hotel parking lot for thirty minutes while a lady gets her shit together isn’t an option. Some of us have to plan these things well in advance and when a provider books back to back clients it creates a problem. One guy walks out and you have two more in the parking lot waiting to come in.

I had a provider that travels from Texas that said she would be in town, I scheduled a full day appointment and secured my appointment with a partial payment and when the day came NOTHING she didn’t answer she didn’t show. I got a text ten hours later saying her phone broke, but when looking at her reviews she had never left Texas she was still there booking appointments and had reviews from that day in another state.

We all take a chance, just like a doctors appointment, but I think more providers waste time than some people would like to admit. Back to back appointments, fake or old pictures, not having a ride, and my phone was dead, is a very very common excuse !

Just like the guy that plans a date on his lunch break that spends thirty minutes waiting on a provider to wash the old spice off of her from the guy that just left is frustrating and a waste of his time, so is the guy not showing up for an appointment a waste of yours.

I agree that you should never book and not let someone know you are not going to keep your booking. Both parties should be decent enough to be courteous. I have cancelled some sessions due to unavoidable situations but always try to do ahead of time so the lady can book someone else.
Also to me time wasters are providers that you book for 6 on a certain ahead of time sometimes a day ahead and as that nears you go to confirm and they sorry I did not get enough replies so I did not make it. Also a hour before appointment sorry can we make it a hour later or 30 mins later. This one really gets me as if you cannot manage your time you should not expect to see clients that are on time and courteous.
I once booked with a lady 2 days in advance and let her know the time we agreed on was important and when I text her on arrival at 5 mins before time, she text back sorry I am having a hard time getting a client to get out the door, please give me 30 minutes. OK I said fine, not really I told her to forget me and never call me again. I have had many experiences in my hobby years but time management is most important to me and also not being on the back side of someone that just left. I expect to be clean and the provider needs time to make sure she is clean and ready to entertain the client for the hard earned money he is spending.
But back on topic always keep you booking or give plenty notice in advance if things change.
To Harley D's point, I have also booked days ahead of time and on the day of, checked, only to find out she didn't make the trip. One case was a provider coming in from Dallas. An hour ahead of time I texted her to re-confirm, only to find out she was still in Dallas. When I got a little irate about her not telling me, she called me an asshole because her mother had died! I've heard some excuses but that one is tops. On the VERY off chance this happened, I expressed my condolences and apologized. But I was 99% sure she was telling me a lie. To see if she was telling me the truth, I had a hobby bud contact her to ask about her trip here. She told him she didn't make the trip due to not enough bookings. I checked the Dallas forum and there she was running an ad that very day. She told me she hoped I would book with her when she returned. No hon, I won't bother.

The OP has a very legitimate post but this crap works both ways.

Treat others the way you wish to be treated works here just like it does in the real world.

Last excuse I got for a confirmed appointment where she then went dark as I was waiting for her text to come to the door is she had to go with some friends to hand out gloves and bowls of chili to the homeless. I guess I was supposed to not be pissed because homeless people were involved. Didn’t work.
