at you news dawgs down there.....I usually watch MSNBC when I want to get updated on the happenings (yeah I know, they're way left but at least they've always been willing to allow airtime to the opposing viewpoint and I love Chris Matthews' Hardball Show)....This past weekend I was with some friends and they were watching FoxNews and as I was watching the only thing I could really think at the time was "GAWD DAYUM ! ! ! ! !".....

Now for the part where ole BIG C is seriously pissed off at you dawgs....."WHY IN THE HELL DIDN'T SOMEONE TELL ME THAT THEY HAD SUCH HELLACIOUSLY FINE HOTTIES AS THEIR ANCHORS???".....I'd do that Megan Kelly in a heatbeat.....Hell, even NFL Commish Roger Goodell's wife, Jane Skinner I believe is her name, is one seriously fine hottie.....I still don't have much respect for the network, but hey, at least they do have much eye candy for a dawg to gleer at while they're fucking up reporting the news so that makes up for a whole lot.....

I was thinking much along the same lines about Ms Kelly the other day. And I agree, I hate it when she begins to challenge and yell at guest commentators she disagrees with—even before they finish making their statements. That is neither good journalism nor discussion. Yet I am similarly more disappointed with every other network.

For instance, the other day, I wanted to catch up on the news. As I went through the news channels (CNN, HLN, MSNBC), I was met with a barrage of talking heads discussing the lurid details of Sandra Bullock’s marital situation until I reached Fox. They were covering the oil spill in the gulf.

I pretty much switched from CNN to Fox last fall during the ACORN scandal. (I hate ACORN or any other machine or entity using my tax dollars to fraudulently and detrimentally impact elections.) Fox was the only network that offered to report on the matter. The following statement by another blogging viewer fairly much sums up my consternation:

“MSNBC, home of Keith Olbermann, cannot get enough of the Predator series. A popular feature there is “Predator Raw: The Unseen Tapes.” This is a collection of previously recorded stings from the series, which never aired during its network run. In fact, on September 21, 2009 MSNBC will run another episode of the show.

“Which leads me around to my point: If soliciting a fictional teenager for sex is a violation of the law, then CERTAINLY, aiding and abetting the importation of fictional teenagers into a US sex ring, is a crime at least as heinous.

“So where is MSNBC on the ACORN scandal? Where is Chris Hansen? Where is Olbermann? Certainly “Predator Raw” viewers would be just as shocked and entertained watching ACORN employees being cuffed and led away, as they are watching fat old pedophiles. And if the ultimate reason behind the NBC series was to protect youth, certainly protecting the youth of El Salvador, kids who might have been kidnapped and brought into this country as slaves, is a mission equally noble.

“Keith Olbermann has a very devoted fan base. People who watch him religiously, watch him exclusively. They also consider themselves well informed, despite only getting the news that Keith is willing to report. So why is he keeping them in the dark?

“Come on Keith, you can’t hide it from them forever.”

Here’s another instance of oblivion by ABC news anchorman Charles Gibson:

“Don: Ok here’s my question, Senate bill yesterday passes cutting off funds to this group called ACORN. Now we got the…we got that bill passing, we got the embarrassing video of ACORN staff giving tax advice on how to set up a brothel with 13 year old hookers. It has everything you could want corruption and sleazy action at tax funded organizations that’s got government ties. But nobody’s covering that story why?

“Charlie Gibson: (laugh) I don’t even know about it. Uh, so you got me at a loss, I don’t know. Uh, uh, but, but My goodness if it’s got everything including sleaziness in it we should talk about it this morning.”

(ABC news anchorman Charlie Gibson in an interview on WLS AM Chicago’s “Don Wade & Roma Morning Show,” Sep 15, 2009. http://biggovernment.com/publius/200...know-about-it/

Dilbert’s Tea Party Joke echoes this same sentiment. (http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=46022) The Tea Party, on networks other than Fox, is always portrayed as a coalition of violent, right-wing extremists. Whereas, the violence and looting perpetrated by the anti-Arizona May Day rioters was all but ignored by networks other than Fox.

PBS news commentator Bill Moyer is following Jon Stewart’s lead and has resorted merely to bashing Fox at every turn. Again, that is not journalism.

The best source of news, in my opinion, is NPR. Despite their stated left-leaning position, they still do good in depth journalism and not the superficial pabulum offered by the television news channels. Unless Tiger Woods is going to share some good phone numbers, I am not interested in his adultery, nor in Jessie James’ adultery (or now - the latest Headline - David Boreanaz of “Bones” adultery). That’s gossip, not news.

By the way Big C, have you ever noticed Robin Meade on HLN?
yall are crazy........... head line news...with robin meade...is like 5am free porn...... robin and that other chick is smokin hot........ makes msn news anchors look like grannys....

IBH, first question I have to ask is "Who in their right mind would ever take Keith Olberman to be a serious news anchorman???".....But, I do like the fact that on MSNBC, even as left-wing as they truly are, at the very least they will let opposing viewpoints be heard (even though Keith does tend to be a bit rude on occasions).....Chris Matthews Hardball is still a good show.....FoxNews, even though they pretend to give equal time to the opposing view) never truly does it because if you're not straght right wing they will continuously interrupt you and finally just cut you off for disagreeing with them.....

I lost all respect for HLN and CSPAN many years ago and just hardly ever watch those networks unless I'm at someone's place and that's all they watch (several providers I know seem to think those networks are from Heaven above).....The only good think about ABC is that they bought out ESPN so now they can show some pretty good sports packages.....As a news channel, methinks I'd rather watch HLN or CSPAN than ABC news.....ABC news is big on gossip, but falls way short on informing people about current and important issues.....NPR is fine but I don't listen to it very often (again, unless I'm in the car with someone who has it on their Sirius Radio).....

But my point is, FoxNews, while it doesn't do much for me as far as journalistic intelligence, they definitely know how to show some serious eye candy.....

BTW, I concur that that Robin Meade is one hot mutha.....But I still think I'd jump Megan Kelly before her (although I wouldn't be shedding tears if I had to fuck Robin Meade either ).....
You lonely guys need to watch Naked Newz.
I am with u big c...... I could not choose...I would just do them bout.... while watching cnn
Big guy. It's about time you started watching some good news, by the way Megan Kelly is also a lawyer so you two would have alot in common. Bill O'rielly has a few good looking hotties on his show a few nites a week.
the only way to get so-called fair & balanced coverage , is to watch all of em. keith oberman & chris matthews are jokes for journalists. ridiculous.
bayou boy

ps- we all agree megyn kelly is a hottie. i only wonder how nasty she can be.

Theres a reason why Fox news is the #1 cable news in network cable. they have the hot chicks and deliver better news content in that they don't try to present a narrative like big 3 networks and cable news do. The coverage of the Tea party & the immigration protest shows the difference.

MSCNBC is #2 I believe and CNN is #3 at least according to ratings and they have been steadiliy losing viewers.

however, I don't know the ratings for ABC, CBS & NBC news, but they are apples & oranges when compared to cable.

You'd be hard pressed to find one ugly woman on Fox, except when they interview liberals .

But, the anchors are all smokin' hot!!!! Roger Ailes must have a thing for blondes because about 90% of them are blonde.

For blondes:

Gretchen Carlson was a former Ms. America and is super cute.

Megan Kelly is an attorney and hot.

Martha McCallum is pretty.

Juliette Huddy is beautiful in my book.

Margaret Hoover, a regular on O'Reilly, is absolutely beautiful.

For the few brunettes on there:

Lauren Green was a Ms. Minnesota in 1984 and was the third runner-up in the 1985 Miss America contest and is a concert pianist.

Julie Banderas, unfortunately out on maternity leave, is gorgeous.

Rebecca Diamond, now on Fox Business News is hot.

FBN also has super hot Jenna Lee and Sandra Smith.

Gerri Willis from CNN just jumped over to FBN a few weeks ago.

Watch Red Eye at 2 am enough and you'll see a plethora of hot women as well.

There is definitely no lack of beautiful women on both Fox networks. It's the only place to get REAL news and hot women at the same time. I figure Roger Ailes is a genius. Even the libs will switch to Fox to check out the hotties and then realize that they're hearing things not covered by other networks and one day they'll open their eyes and figure out they've been lied to by the lame-stream media for the last decade or more and switch to Fox. That's why Fox News dominates the cable news networks and has more than 2 times the audience as CNN in second place all day and night.
