Trump has 30 days to charge ahead, with renewed purpose and sympathies. No independent confirmation of any medical symptom, we have heard from Trump's inner circle at every turn. Chris Christie calls CNN to say he checked himself into a hospital.. He will be fine by Monday. The campaign is already energized. This is the damndest thing. We were tricked. Trick or Treat!

Now, If one of the dozen or so others who ''tested positive''.. no independent confirmation, mind you. If one of them turns up dead by mid-October, I will believe these tales. But I bet you all of them have a cough and some sniffles, then beat Covid like a drum.

Trump's forfeited presidential salary would not be a tax deduction. He would simply not claim that money as income, but absolutely no one would a receive a legal deduction for that as well. Therefore it had absolutely nothing to do with his huge losses that allowed him to pay virtually no income tax in the past few years.
