I passed the border after a long while, first time after passport rules enforced, to have some fun. If you interested, check my review.

Thanks Pal

I used to make 2 ME trips a year to the Falls had some fun at both the strip joints and then had evening company. Have not been there in a few years. I was in Toronto for work last year and had a blast, it's a adult playground

Good luck

What do you mean by "passport rules enforced"? I thought you always needed a passport. I also heard you can't visit Canada anymore if you have a DUI, unless you hire an attorney months in advance to obtain a special visa. This has really hurt Canadian tourism.

No years ago all you needed was a drivers license. Now you need a passport or you can use a travel card which is half the cost of a passport but can only be used for Canada and Mexico

Good luck

I believe the passport rule started like 5-6 years ago? My last visit was before 2008 when I quit smoking and I did not use the passport. I could be wrong.

You can still get into Canada if the DUI has been expunged. I got a DUI in May of 2014 and was in Niagara (Canada side) last year after going through ARD and paying all of my fines. As long as you know everything is expunged, you should be just fine to get in. This is, of course, if you get a DUI in a state that expunges DUIs. If you don't, you're probably fucked.
DUI needs to be expongued or 10+ yrs ago.
You need a passport or NYS enhanced license.
Upstate NY and Niagara ECCIE sections have good strip club Intel and reviews.

I had to go to Montreal twice back in 2000 for my job to inspect some equipment. 1st trip no problem. 2nd trip they told me to go through customs. I had a small bag with me full of various gauges I used to measure and condemn components. I had to explain to the agent how every one of them was used. He then asked me if I was ever arrested or in front of a Judge. I told him I was for a DUI back in the 90's. He pulled my FBI file, came back and said I was not the kind of person wanted in Canada. I said I had to get my job done and what I could do? He said I had 2 choices, either get back on the next flight back, or apply for rehabilitation. I said how do I apply for rehabilitation? He said that I give him $200.00 and fill out a form. He then made me stand in front of a white wall, took my picture, and came back with a paper with my pic on it saying I'm approved and rehabilitated. I still have that paper. Talk about a money making scheme. I hate Montreal. But Quebec City is beautiful.
