Best Place to Stay In DAllas

Ok so I will be in Dallas tomorrow. Does anyone know what areas to go to or stay away from? I don't want to end up in a bad area.

Good place is the Galleria mall area, off North Dallas Tollway but north of 635 and South of Bush tollway.

Avoid the 635/coit area, avoid Irving and Adisson. Good areas are Galleria, UpTown, North DFW airport area... Stay on at least 3 1/2 star hotels... There's more I just can't remember.
