Fantastic eye candy. Friends usually has an older crowd (40s-50s) but can be more fun IMHO because there are less cliques.

With that said, if you go to Players with a hot woman who flaunts her sexuality, you will be accepted very quickly.

SpeedR is correct. Friends, while an older crowd, is more fun, Players (NOT associated with the San Antonio Players club) is snobbish, and for the folks that think they are Ken/Barbie.. If you aren't part of the "in crowd", you'll fell alone and ignored. There is also Dante's, but avoid that one.. they are constantly having to move locations due to .. uh... problems.

Nuglet, it's been a while since I've been to Friends. Is it still off-premise?

Friends has a playroom. I like if way better, it is more diverse and more friendly.
If a lady may take my company, I'd love to hit up one of these clubs. I'm an extrovert so such clubs seem like a fun outing.
I have been to trapeze in Fort Lauderdale, where they had lockers and towels. Do the clubs here in Austin have a place to put your clothes, and towels and condoms?

Unless you are Ken or/and Barbie.
They've done a bit of remodeling, and it's a bit "nicer" than it has been. Definitely worth the trip. We go on a semi regular basis.. not bad. More fun if you go with a few other people.. due to a bit of "stand-offish" attitudes, but we typically go as a couple and see what's there to find.. lol

Was told that the on-premise clubs (like the Players in San Antonio for example) require anyone who enters to sign a lengthy membership and consent form - the 'general public' cannot enter. So no 'public indecency' or other such nonsense can be alleged....

The City of Austin recently added some restrictions in the "Code" enforcement as well.
I won't go into any details about what either of the clubs you mentioned are doing that is illegal, not my fight, but either could be closed for illegal activities for the zoning they have. The Jungle was completely legal, fought and won cases with IRS and City Ordinance and Zoning, but that requires more than just opening doors. Legally you could have an on premises club on 6th - 5th - or 4th street, but the depth of the pockets required kinda rule it out..... for now.

That's like asking LE if they are a cop before exchanging services/money.
The Forms are mainly for the mental comfort of the attendees... IE: "it must be ok, look at the form we signed".. A club that is no longer around, but I know they had a practice of going to the headqtrs on a regular basis, and getting a FOI report on their own address to see how often LE had been to the address, attended a party etc.. just to see how often they were being observed by LE.

Ha!... so what ever happened with all this BS about "America the land of the free"??... with all this bureaucracy going on and enforcement by LE, people can't even fuck freely without fearing some kind of legal or police action against them!.. so sad. Now the Netherlands....now we are talking!!
