Three injured, one in custody after stabbing near OSU campus

Three people suffered non life-threatening injuries, and one of those injured was taken into custody following a stabbing near the Ohio State University campus Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred off-campus in the area of Lane Avenue and High Street around 12:40 a.m.

According to police, the incident began as an argument among the three people. One of those people had a box cutter.

All three were injured by the box cutter.

Police said all three were taken to Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center with what are considered to be non life-threatening injuries.

The person who had the box cutter is in custody.

The situation remains under investigation.

The story about the box cutter- Quite literally none of the sources in town list the race so I'm not sure why it matters whether the Dispatch did or not.


The most fascinating aspect is that every other source states the actual incident happened on campus. Started off.. but happened on. The area around campus isn't exactly the best part of town--


Also interesting-- the name of the student responsible hasn't been released.
