Costa Rica or Colombia?

I've hobbied in several international locations (Czech Republic, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Europe, etc.) and have an opportunity coming up for a 4-day bender in either Costa Rica (likely San Jose) or Colombia (likely Medellin). I've been to Costa Rica on a non-hobby vacation (Pacific coast side, near, Jaco, which I did not know about at the time), and it's a beautiful country, though the women there didn't exactly jump as special. Colombian women, on the other hand, oooof!

In any case, IF (and only if)) you have actually been to both Costa Rica and Colombia, I'd like to hear your opinion about which location you prefer and why.

If I go to CR, it'll likely be in San Jose (the drive to Jaco takes up more time and adds complexity to a 4-day trip) and stay at Sportsmen's Lodge or Taormina. If I go to Colombia, it'll likely be Medellin and I'll probably stay at Hotel M (La Mansion) for convenience sake.

For those that have been both places, which location is best for:
-safety
-cost
-quality of women
-ease of navigation for a non-Spanish speaker

Appreciate the feedback.

Safety is not even close - Costa
Cost - is equal
Quality - slight edge to Columbia, not so much in looks but in activities
Ease of navigation- Communication easier in Costa Rica ( better educated)
Go on Columbia Cupid and Latina Cupid and you can set up dates before
going to either country.

can't go wrong in either place.
Costa Rica, either place in San Jose is good. Will be cheaper than Jaco. In Jaco, Cocal offers alot (albeit u will pay more....figure $150 for 1/1.5 hr) Thursday thru Sunday with walkable town and beach. Can get by with english but a little spanish helps
I really enjoy Medellin and as far as safety I stay in Lleras Park- walkable area. Chicas are alot cheaper than Jaco (figure $40-75 per hour and that's coming to my rental that has security) and some of the girls there are full blown pornstars, they'll gladly do what you want. Look on mileroticos/medellin and catadora de prepagos for research. Really need to know a little spanish here.
I love Colombia, what i did before traveling was to know people from there (preferably english speakers). I was in Cartagena and it is amazing, the food, women and activities. The people i met helped me to avoid scams which are more common than it seems.
