So, a while back, I'm driving past this semi-upscale addition not too far from where I live. Not a gated community, but it does have a sort of gateway entrance off the main road, with a brick wall on either side. The place is called "Hawthorne Park," and in black wrought-iron-looking letters, they have the name on this brick wall:
HAWTHORNE PARK
It's Sunday morning, and it looks as if some kids were having a fun Saturday night. Some letters (four of them) had been removed. Now it looked like:
W HOR E PARK
Why didn't I take a picture? I should have, but I was too busy laughing my ass off. Ya gotta love them youthful vandals, sometimes.
