How about you get paid for a photoshoot and then book a session from the money you earn?
Seriously, there is an advertising forum for photographers. And many photographers advertise there. Some of them even book sessions with providers too.

It takes a lot longer than an hour to setup and do a quality shoot. Also charging $300 for an hour shoot using a $600 camera(Sony SLT-A77V), no lighting, soft pictures and no bokeh even though you were at f2.8 seems excessive.
By retouched photos do you mean crop and process the photos to black and white?
Do you really want to showcase a picture of someone sitting by the curb in front of dead plants, squinting because the sun is hitting them in the face as a representation of your work?
