Apple I Auction

It's time to check your basement for old computers.

One of only 6 functioning Apple I computers known to exist was just sold at auction for 516,461 euros ($668,000). It was originally sold in 1976 for $666 as a motherboard only - hand-built (and signed) by Steve Wozniak.

I've got a Netrontics ELF II with keyboard, monitor, and Radio Shack DMP-100 printer boxed up and sitting in the basement that has not been turned on in 30 years. I have to pull it out and see if it still works.

I got a LISA.
I bought a TRS-90 at a garage sale, TRS-80 cartridges at Radio Shack, extremely surprising since the system had been out of production for over 20 years, and found a TRS-80 programming book at another sale..
