Poppers?

So I recently saw a Domme for a fisting lesson who offered me poppers. I declined but I was curious as to why she offered them to me. She said it would relax me and allow me to take take more of her inside me. Anyone have any experience with them? Is it something that is safe?

From what I've read online it's an inhalant marketed as video head cleaner. Rush and locker room are some brand names. Don't know much more than that.

It's amyl or butyl nitrate. They're used medically for the treatment of angina. They cause a dilation of blood vessels by promoting the relaxation of smooth muscles which line the arteries. They also promote the relaxation of other smooth muscles as well, such as those found in sphincters. They're not controlled substances, but they can be hazardous is used improperly, especially in someone that has cardiac problems or on certain medications for heart problems. They also should not be combined with Viagra, Cialis or Levitra.

My gay male friends have been doing them for years. That is, the ones that survived the eighties A.I.D.S. pandemic. Never asked why. More information than I need.

This thread will remain closed - While technically legal - Poppers are sold for other uses, NOT for a recreational drug. The use of these as a recreational drug is a VERY bad idea. Here are some of the effects, Courtesy of Babee:

Poppers come in two recipes. Both are nitrate - one is legal and the other isn't. Not sure which is which. They are NOT sold as sex aids but as electronic cleaner, leather cleaner and/or room freshener. It's a form of laughing gas in compressed air. One form may still be prescribed for heart patients. (again not sure which is which)

Poppers do give a rush when 'huffed'.
Effects last a few minutes. It opens blood vessels sending a lot of oxygen saturated blood to the brain causing a 'rush'. Relaxes arteries & muscles - hence for anal sex.

Temp effects - dizziness, headache, possible loss of erection.

NOT for heart patients - causes blood pressure to drop.

Messes with the immune system. <- This effect can last for 2-3 days. Compromised immune system with a 'higher/better blood flow' increases risks of infections - all blood born infections.
