How did you guys find Eccie? Friend? Escort? Another Hobbyist?

I was curious because from what I understand, Eccie used to be called ASPD but I had never heard of that either. Being on the West Coast I mentioned the major board over there, and so one day I had casually mentioned that I wanted to tour Texas. A gentleman from yet another board said " Then you have to go to www.eccie.net because that is THE major board for Texas and some other areas in the Midwest and South. I had never heard of it before. I've been doing some reading on the history of ASPD too.

And it's a good thing I was recomended here otherwise, I would have stuck to Erosguide.

Amber was the owner of ASPD...and after she passed away, her family closed down ASPD.

ECCIE was started as sort of a replacement home for all of us wayward souls and that's how it came to be. We needed a new home, so here we are.

I was a member of ASPD for several years and then just moved over here shortly after this site went online.
When I was visiting Vegas last year a client called me off backpage and told me about it.
I think I found this place on a Google search. I don't really remember.

ECCIE rose like a phoenix out the the ASPD death. There was at least one other site that tried to take over after ASPD died.

Like a lot of others, we were scrambling for a "new" place to call home. I found ECCIE.

I'm sure some of the higher powers can chime in if they feel inclined, but from what I understand...St.Christopher is an old ASPD mod himself. So if I understand correctly...there were a few websites that popped up but none of them took off like ECCIE...so obviously this is the place to be.
^Agreed.

ERAPS is actually another review site.

It just...for some reason...never became popular, so it's basically dead. Personally, I haven't logged in over there in a couple years.

I don't know how they feel about posting a link, Ava...but I will PM it to you if you're curious.
A few years ago I was researching for a trip to SA and one of the providers listed ECCIE so I googled it. I have had to change names once, but have been a member here in one form or another for a few years. It is my go to Board, then Red Book. MERB is my book for Canada.

I stumbled on ASPD back when I was in the Marine Corps back in the day...

Eccie was actually up and running before ASPD crashed. I remember "Home2" being started when ASPD started having problems as well.

Now if my memory serves me correctly...Home2 was started as an alternative board due to ASPD being hacked and brought down for a period of time. Again...we all needed a place to play!! LOL.

Home2 is that third board I couldn't think of...gracias DED!

It is still an up and running board (I think), but like eRAPS...it's another dead fish and is currently being run by former ASPD mods as well.
