Info on female condoms

I was trying to getbsome and I called a couple of places - including one store where I had previously bought them. Nobody had them. When I looked on the net, it turns out that the FC2 (the most reliable one) is now only available by prescription. I guess profits come before public health.

Here is a link to the company—-

I would call your local DOH (Department of Health) to see if they have some or of any clinics they supply to that might have them.
And of course like nycacharlie2003 posted there's the FC2 site.
Last but not least HeyDoctor (HeyDoctor.com) is an app (and website) that can help you get an FC2 prescription and point you in the direction of where to get the prescription filled.

You don’t need a prescription to get them you can order FC2 directly from
website without one...only need a prescription if your interested in having your insurance cover the cost

Correct you don't necessarily need a prescription but it's the more affordable way (since most insurances cover) vs buying uninsured.
But...a lot of clinics & wellness/health centers (which are supplied condoms including FC2's by safe sex organizations & DOH) have them for the grand price of free also and don't always have a limit on what you can take.
Using my base as an example a lot of D.C. area clinics & health centers you can literally walk in and grab 10-20 (sometimes more) easy peasy for free. Lol one day I went to 3 different places and collected about 75 of them . I usually get mine via prescription (2 boxes of 12 a month for free (since my doctor knows how to write a prescription for them)).

If insured folks are a having a hard time getting a prescription from a doctor (or the doc doesn't know how to write one (even though FC2 site has instructions on that)) the site HeyDoctor gives prescriptions for $5 that cover 1 order plus a refill. So in a year you're technically only paying $30 for 288 rounds of fun .

But charlie, why you buying female condomns? They have to be the right size for the girl and from what I have heard a girl has to get used to using them. Cant just pop them on like a guy does.
My bad - you can buy them directly from the company without a prescription. However, if you buy from a retailer (i.e. drugstore) you need a prescription.

There is only one size and I would check with the lady before to see if she was comfortable.

They are also available on Amazon. They are one size fits all. They are also super expensive compared to regular condoms. I think they give you a little more skin protection since they cover more, but that'll only make them more effective against herpes and HPV which you are already carrying most likely. Otherwise the protection factor should be similar. They feel better since they stay put while your penis moves. You can use them with any kind of lubricant as they are made of nitrile. You can also use them if you have a latex allergy. They look a bit weird but if porn actors started using them, I'm sure we'd get used to the way they look, much like regular condoms (not that you see those much in porn nowadays either).
I try to avoid ladies with penises

Just didn't like the feel....Or ? I've never had a woman use one but they look interesting.
Besides them looking a little strange, they are the closest to feeling like condomless sex while being just as safe as external (or male) condoms.
