A 3 day layover in Denver woop woop

I have only been to this city like 3 times in 20 yrs And never stayed near the Airport Car less.
How is the public transportation?
Safe? Clean?
Have not used the public transportation personally.
However, I have friends that have done so. Don't expect to get anywhere fast with RTD, depending on where you are trying to go, it can take hours even with light rail. One friends takes his kids on light rail all the time (6-9 yo), though they have recently acquired a car now (so no more 6 hour days on RTD).
Never heard of complaints about Uber/Lyft.

Have seen a few girls in the airport area, the places seemed nice and I would probably stay at them if travelling depending on the cost and where I'm planning to be at. Don't recall the name of the places, one was very nice (was a small suite), the other was good. Both were actual hotels and not motels.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.. Wasting hrs to get somewhere is a no no for me.

After 3 Lyft rides almost costing $100.00 I could not stand not having a car.
I rented a car changed my map canceled my flight and drove out of there. lol
So I will be back with my rental car then fly back home in a few weeks.
Because the drop off fee anywhere else is ridiculous so I will be back.
It worked out because I can visit Grand Juction even though I had to drive through damn near a blizzard in the middle of May.... THEY ARE SWIMMING IN TEXAS AND LOUISIANA and I am fighting snow...lol SMH
I left all my coats in the south..lol
Thanks for the help.
No problem, sorry for the late response, don't lurk that much over here and only recently made an account because a young lady requested a review.

Other than the weather and difficulty of getting around with public transportation, hope you are enjoying your visit.
