Steaming Your Clothes In The Shower

Best travel tip I got came from business travelers. When you've just landed in town, unpacked your clothing and you're horrified to see it's wrinkled with no time to have it pressed:

Have a hot shower! Hang up the outfit somewhere in the bathroom and take a nice long luxurious hot shower. The steam will gently straighten out your clothes.

Thanks Lauren,

just found out I'm flying to Scottsdale Thursday to play the TPC course. But on a small private plane and was told to pack lite. So, this tip came at the perfect time.

It's saved me dozens of times when I've had a to go out in formal wear the day I land in a city.

Have fun!
It works every time, with the added benefit (in the winter) of adding moisture to the air.
Just don’t hang the clothes on the sprinkler heads. I know they look perfect for holding hangers, but don’t.
It does not work in extremely humid climates. I've been doing this for years but Singapore and HK foiled me.

Amanda, that made me laugh. Yes, things work quite differently in the weather here!
