First time Visiting Upstate NY any great restaurants to try?

Excited to be visiting Upstate NY I will be in Buffalo early next month and other surrounding cities.
Is there any really good recommendations for steaks/seafood?
Are the restaurants/bars open for indoor dining?
Looking forward to meeting new friends while I am visiting?
Thank you xo

I hear Russell's is great.

King Crab is right there as well. Never been to either lol. I stay at Tru or Home2 hotels right by there when I'm in town for work from Binghamton. You'll be able to find something good I'm sure.
I'm Hoping to see you 4/10 in SYR !!!
Indoor dining is open with some restrictions of course. Best of luck finding steak and / or seafood

My vote is for Giancarlo's Sicilian Steakhouse. They do everything really well!

Russell's or the Chop House are probably your best steak houses. There's no special seafood place in Buffalo. Lots of good Mexican and Chinese take out here too.

If you are into hair, you might try Hair World, on Bailey Ave. It has a national reputation.
