Why Scammers Use Bad Grammar

It appears there is a reason why a scammer intentionally uses bad grammar in their emails. It is to weed out the skeptics from the truly gullible.

I hadn't thought of it that way before but it makes sense! Also, these scammers probably aren't any better in person or on the phone so it makes sense that they wouldn't want to waste time with a very grammatical and well-put come-on and then have their marks mostly all fall out once they're supposed to be on the hook.
