Glad to see you are able to get into chat fawn. That male symbol is a default. You can change it to whatever you want to in the options. I'm figuring out how to change the default..

Here's the How-to for folks that would rather go right to it:
Go into chat
click Options
click the Effects tab
Change your chat list avitar to one that makes you happy
Click on OK
