Be a gentleman and introduce her to your family as your Hobby friend...
Seriously? I'm glad you asked; now you know what to do.

Top 5 Options: (From Spikebaby's Escorting 101 manual...chapter 3)

5. Stand there, piss your pants and try explaining to your SO why you did so

4. Point out to your SO the hot lady in the produce section fondling the coconuts and suggest she try that on you when you get home (obviously this scenario is location specific)

3. Jump up and down, pointing, shouting "Hey, I know you! Any new Specials?"

2. Fake a seizure to draw attention away from the situation. (A good reason to always carry Alka Seltzer in your pocket)

1. DO NOTHING!!!!!! ACT NORMAL!!!!! (highly recommended)

#3 works best for me ... ijs.

Spikebaby forgot the most important option ... Always ask how the taint photos are coming.

Yes..............A few of months ago, I was in a restaurant eating with my gf at the time, and I look up, there she was with a guy, presumably another hobbyist, as I have taken many providers out to dinner, including her, but I was not going to ask! We did make eye contact, but that was it (Thank God). I wanted to hurry and get out, which we did!

FYI....I (and most all providers) do go to dinner with people other than hobbyist.
Chances are she didn't even realize who you were because she was in Real World Mode or she was just as nervous as you were.

I have had several occasions that I have bumped into, sat directly across from, been at the same party (civie), fondled coconuts in front of at the grocery store......

Just act normal!!

AND....if you think that a provider that you have seen or visit with frequently is going to be someone who is going to approach you or confront you while you are with your SO or family....you may want to re think about who you are seeing.

Your welcome!

Had it happen with coworkers during a lunch and went with spike baby rule #1. Do nothing and act normal. I don't know what other option is there. No one knows except both parties.

We exchanged PMs later that evening and confirmed it was good neither of us said anything.

If it happened with my SO no different (and exchange PMs later that evening to figure out the next hobby date)

Spikebaby rule #1 is a good idea. I have had it happen twice. Once, walking through a discount store, a provider and her civilian neighbor were checking out some items on the same shelf we were. We did a great job of ignoring each other. And I am sure she could discern the terror in my eyes .
The second event was at a restaurant. The provider was with a guy. I saw her from the corner of my eye and she saw me see her. We did our best to ignore each other.

They both did a nice job of doing the right thing.

I might have to see Spikebaby so I have nothing to worry about when I dine.

Spikebaby's rule 1. Not only does it work, an extra layer of trust gets developed, which leads to more fun over the long-term.
It's happened to me a few times & we totally ignored one another. Exchanged texts later, scheduled a follow up session and banged out those nerves!
