Stale threads

When , in your opinion, a new thread becomes STALE ? I stop reading after more than 50 replies, since the OP topic is usually lost. What do y'll think?

depends.. one of mine went into hundreds of replies and never became stale.. some take less than 10..

others get stale when certain members have trouble, then post the same message 3 times in 4 minutes

Once the topic is lost in the swordplay, it's done.

I think this thread has run its course.

I don't think it's just the threads the whole forum gets kinda stale especially all the pissing contests
