Recommendations on Tex Mex near Galleria area

Hey everyone! I was looking for some recommendations on good Tex Mex restaurants that serve brunch! Malia and I are trying to work up a hearty appetite!

LADA (6859 Arapaho Rd Ste 601 Dallas, TX 75248) is awesome... Not traditional Tex-Mex... Very innovative menu...

The restaurant scene around the Galleria itself is terrible, you want to go either north to Addison or south to Preston & Forest.

Gloria's, Cantina Laredo, Herrera's in Addison all good but check the menu for their brunch offerings and some are more classic Tex Mex than others. I've heard good things about Lupe Tortilla but have not been. Mesero, Meso Maya are more Mex-Mex. Chuy's is there but honestly, it's a chain and while way better than On the Border is nothing to write home about. There's a Velvet Taco up there as well.

Preston & Forest has Torchy's, Velvet Taco, and Mi Cocina.

I've only been to Lupe Tortilla for brunch but any place with a breakfast margarita gets my seal of approval!

Isn't that location just a few miles from Addison?

Just up the Tollway North, maybe 10 Minutes is Blue Mesa Grill...Fantastic
