Where to stay in New Orleans?

I would like to know what area(s) are good to stay near at the moment.
The French Quarter, Downtown, Suburbs ... Please let me know via pm .
I will be in town in about a week.

A good place to stay would be on my face!!! Just kidding, I am in the N.O. area and when you are headed this way would love to visit. I think some of the local ladies would be the best to get that sort of info from. But, what I have read stay away from the budget priced places it seems LE is watching a few of those places. Well hope to visit and I'll send you a pm on p411 for your info.

lower garden district/FQ or downtown...priceline has great hotels/3 and 4 star for reasonable prices

stay away from sheraton on canal....nosey!

I have stayed @ The Royal Sonesta on Bourbon Street in the past and it was great. Been a while. You might want to check the reviews. See you in Houston in Nov!

Parking is a little more convenient for clients if you stay Downtown or Convention center area. French Quarter can be tough for locals.
