he's talking about that "married with children" series with the Bundy family.Correct. I remember years ago an interview with the cast and writers. They wanted a name that was repulsive in every sense. Hence Bundy was used.

The Bundy name was in reference to King Kong Bundy. He was in a couple episodes during the run of the series
